Content Executive

Job description

Are you a passionate wordsmith who pays incredible attention to detail? Apply today to join our growing team as a Content Executive, supporting us to raise our profile through compelling content and storytelling.

You’ll need to be confident in producing great content that not only engages and reacts to the landscape, but informs and helps our customers, increasing traffic to our websites in turn. This is a hands-on role which combines elements of SEO, content and digital PR, focusing on creating high quality content and quality links to our brand’s websites to drive new customer interest. You’ll need strong organisational skills, creativity and be able to manage multiple projects at once.

You’ll focus on developing and delivering content campaigns that are intuitive, consistent and serve the needs of our customers with maximum impact. Working with many stakeholders across the business, you’ll help to raise the profile and understanding of our business and brands, in the education world.

You'll have a good understanding of the customer funnel, persona-focused content marketing, hands-on experience in creating content across multiple formats, and be willing to expand your knowledge into video marketing. You'll be confident at researching and using insight to drive your content plan delivery. Combining your natural flair for creative writing with a solid understanding of keyword research, you’ll create content that persuades users as much as it does search engines.

o Using SEO tools as well as your own ability to spot gaps and create engaging and shareable content across various channels

o Assisting with the delivery of the content calendar that supports a regular cadence of new campaigns to address opportunities in our sales funnel or through specific personas.

o Working with the wider team to integrate insightful content into all our other channels and to curate case studies, research pieces, interviews and surveys.

o Working collaboratively with the product and marketing teams; supporting new product launches and brand messages, turning them into content for multiple streams that tell a story, provide value and delight readers. In turn, you'll be increasing our web traffic and positively impacting our new business campaigns.

o Assisting with monthly reporting and measuring various performance metrics to track and report on performance using tools like Google Analytics, ahrefs etc.
