Are you a new Merchandiser looking for an exciting opportunity to progress? Come and join our Supply Chain team where you will be supported to learn and develop your career.

We’re currently looking for an entry level Merchandiser here at Findel Education. We’re the one-stop-shop for educational supplies, providing all of the products schools and nurseries need, delivered when they want them, at highly competitive prices.

Reporting to a Merchandiser Level 2 and with their support and guidance, you’ll be responsible for:

o Placing orders on the system in line with agreed levels

o Ensuring stock is delivered on time for new product launch

o Working within the advised intake plan, ensuring the critical path is adhered to

o Maintaining all forms for authorization to complete within agreed lead-times

o Facilitating data change relating to deliveries

o Contributing to weekly and monthly reports as required

o Working closely with the warehouse to ensure all deliveries from suppliers are in line with the intake plan and meet the Goods in criteria

o Monitoring forecasts v actual order quantities placed and suggesting adjustments

o Resolving queries (eg. invoices, customers, warehouse, non-conformance)

We’re ideally looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

o Ideally some previous experience in a similar merchandising role, however this role would also suit a recent graduate with a relevant degree and interest in this area.

o Basic MS Office skills including Excel.

o Great communicator, confident in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

o Able to deliver excellent customer service.

o Able to work as part of a team, as well as use own initiative.

o Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
