We're looking for a Business Development Manager to join our high-performing Sales Team here at Findel where you’ll play a key role in driving business growth for our Davies Sports brand, across the education, leisure, grassroots sectors. Commercially aware, you’ll engage with customers to nurture and ultimately win new business opportunities. You’ll be part of a supportive, cross-functional team where collaboration drives results and ensures the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Your Role:
Reporting to the Head of Sales, some of the responsibilities of this exciting opportunity include:
• Identifying and securing profitable new business opportunities through a strong, proactive sales pipeline.
• Leading the mobilisation of new accounts, ensuring smooth onboarding and quick activation of demand.
• Targeting new customers, tailoring solutions to meet their needs while promoting the full Davies Sports and Findel offering.
• Collaborating across internal teams to support the successful delivery of new business and raise the profile of key opportunities.
• Building and nurturing strong, long-term customer relationships to drive satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.
• Acting as a brand ambassador for Davies Sports and Findel, promoting our values and enhancing market visibility.
• Understanding market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to shape strategy and inform decision-making.
• Preparing and delivering account performance reports that clearly outline account progress and development plans.
• Maintaining accurate records in our CRM system to support account management and forecasting.
• Continuously developing your skills and capabilities, contributing to a culture of growth and high performance.
About You:
We are ideally looking for the following skills and experience:
• Ideally degree-educated, with a strong passion for sport and broad interest across multiple disciplines.
• Experience coaching sport within an educational setting or at a semi-professional level would be highly desirable.
• Proven success in sales or business development, with a track record of exceeding targets.
• Commercially aware, with a good understanding of digital business models and tools.
• Confident communicator with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, able to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Organised, resilient, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable using CRM systems and reporting tools to manage pipelines and performance.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
• Enhanced DBS check required as you will be working in the education sector (this will be arranged by Findel).
