DevOps Engineer

We have a fantastic opportunity an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our expanding Technology Team here at Findel as we continue our Digital transformation.

Reporting to the Head of Software Engineering and working alongside the Engineering Team and business partners, collaboration is key to this role. As a self-starter you will help increase our ability to deliver better applications at high velocity while ensuring correct levels of performance, resilience, security and cost effectiveness are applied. To do this you will empower Developers to build, deploy and take care of software delivery lifecycle via automation and best practice.

Our solutions currently run-on AWS Serverless and Kubernetes using IaC (Instructure as Code).

There is also the requirement to work with other Cloud Engineers to project manage the implementation of new or amended cloud infrastructures with minimal disruption to existing business as well as to develop, document, make recommendations and communicate plans for investing in Cloud infrastructure, including analysis of cost reduction opportunities.

What we are looking for

• Thorough understanding of CI/CD principles

• Hands on experiences using AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy, Jenkins

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code(Terraform, CloudFormation, Serverless Framework).

• Experience of virtualization and cloud technologies such as Docker, OpenStack and Kubernetes

• Experience in building solutions using major public cloud providers, ideally AWS

• Knowledge of Version control and code review systems such as Git, Bitbucket

• Working experience of Monitoring, Metrics and results visualization tooling (Elastic, Graylog, Syslog, Prometheus, Grafana)

• Comfortable in scripting and programming languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python, NodeJS, C#, Ruby).

• AWS Solutions Architect and/or DevOps Certification.
