We’re currently recruiting for a Merchandiser.  Working with David Lucass, our Head of Merchandising and Beth Malkin, our Commercial Director, apply now to join a growing team and develop your career.

Your Role:

Some of the responsibilities of this exciting opportunity include:

o Effectively manage budgets and service levels relating to sales and stock, ensuring the availability of product across your range.

o Work in partnership with the Buyer on forecasting, monitoring line performance, mitigating excess stock and contributing fully to range planning & selection.

o Produce meaningful trading reports.

o Build strategic relationships with suppliers, ensuring that service is maintained throughout the year.

o Implementation, control and monitoring of a critical path.

About You:

We are ideally looking for the following skills and experience:

o Previous experience in a fast-paced Merchandiser role.

o Proven commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

o Able to analyse data and apply the latest forecasting techniques

o Excellent Excel skills.

o Experience in sourcing and importing from the Far East desirable

o Great communicator, able to work collaboratively.

o Excellent time management skills, able to manage deadlines and priorities effectively.

o Entry level applicants will need strong numeracy & literacy skills, previous experience of using Excel and a passion for a career withing Merchandising.
