We have an exciting opportunity within our Marketing Team here at Findel for a Marketing Executive. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the design and delivery of a brand-focused marketing programme across the international schools and trade resellers customer segments. You will focus on retaining the brand’s existing customer base, recruiting new and winning back lost customers, and looking for innovative ways to drive growth.
A strong emphasis is on understanding and staying close to the market, target audience and regional requirements, whilst championing the customer and their wants & needs at every opportunity. A fundamental part of the role is to evaluate all activity to ensure the appropriate ROI and ensure profitable demand generation.
Great communication and project management skills are pivotal to this role; you must have the ability to build strong relationships across the business and with external stakeholders and partners.
Your Role:
The role requires an understanding and desire to develop in both traditional offline marketing and digital marketing strategies. Some of the responsibilities of this great opportunity include:
• Contributes to the development (with the Senior Marketing Manager) of a customer retention & recruitment contact strategy for the trading year for all channels.
• Supports / manages the delivery of the international customer retention & recruitment programme working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Works with the Senior Marketing Manager to analyse / target customers, and suggests and makes recommendations to turn this data into commercially successful campaigns across all the retention & recruitment customer base.
• Manages the organisation and logistics of smaller events and assists with the management of larger international events.
• Supports / manages the international schools and trade resellers content strategy, identifying opportunities, creating engaging content pieces and working closely with industry experts and partners to deliver guest pieces
• Executes and controls key marketing / campaign activity both offline and digital, that is compelling and drives customers to shop more often and at higher spend levels
• Day to day accountability / management of the campaign budget(s)
• Supports the analysis of individual campaigns / activity in detail covering all key indicators ensuring predefined targets are met
• Assists in the internal communication of the marketing / campaign activities across the business to ensure buy in and support
• Supports the international sales team and manages the delivery of activity to support international customers.
About You:
We’re ideally looking for candidates who have the following skills and experience:
• Relevant marketing degree level education (or equivalent) or 2 years + experience in a relevant marketing role (Example: Marketing Executive / Marketing Apprenticeship)
• Excellent writing, research and proofreading skills
• Events management experience
• Excellent project management skills
• Reliable, committed and enthusiastic with a real appetite for learning about both product and sector marketing
• An understanding on both the role and execution of advertising in the marketing mix
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and a creative flair
• Have great time management skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload whilst working as part of a wider team
• Proficient user of both Microsoft 365 and Google GSuite
• Working knowledge of GA4 analytics and metrics
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of the principles of ROI in a marketing context
• Valid passport required for overseas travel
