We have a fantastic opportunity for a Software Test Engineer who will be an integral part of the Technology team at Findel as we continue our digital transformation. Working closely with other Test Engineers across multiple squads, you will be responsible for designing and implementing our testing strategy for multiple products.

We operate within an Agile software development environment, where testing plays a crucial role. As a Software Test Engineer, you will contribute to planning and estimation, and then turn user stories into repeatable test scripts to achieve a high level of performance and quality on our platform.

What you will do

  •  Have input into how solutions are developed and delivered using knowledge and expertise to help deliver the best possible outcome for the customer.
  •  Carry out manual and exploratory testing across a wide range of processes and systems - including UI, API, back office (workflow) processes, 3rd party systems, and integrations between all of these systems including end-to-end testing.
  •  Coordinate with multiple projects and development teams throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure end-user product quality and meet schedule requirements.
  •  Set quality standards for projects and development teams to ensure high-value products and improved turnaround times.
  •  Work alongside Technical Leads and Testers from project inception to create and implement an appropriate test automation approach to complement the manual testing and overall project deliveries.
  •  Assist in the development and execution of test plans and test cases based on product design specifications for multiple projects and development teams.
  •  Raise bugs in a timely manner with sufficient detail to be fixed/reproduced.
  •  Proactively identify and address potential and actual issues, as well as find defects and keep track of them.
  •  Support User Acceptance Testing and release to Production.
  •  Stay up-to-date with modern technologies, trends, and relevant standards

What we are looking for in you

  •  Competency in test case design, test planning, and test strategies to ensure comprehensive and efficient testing.
  •  Analytical mindset and problem-solving aptitude to identify and address testing issues effectively.
  •  Ability to evaluate constraints, risks, and dependencies to ensure thorough testing coverage.
  •  Meticulous attention to detail.
  •  Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
  •  Experience with an Automated Test Framework (ATF) or other test automation tools is a nice to have.
