UX Designer

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a UX Designer here at Findel. You will play a new role in translating user needs and business objectives into elegant and user-centric design solutions. This role requires a creative thinker with a strong understanding of user experience principles and best practices, as well as proficiency in design tools and methodologies.

Your Role:

Some of the responsibilities of this great opportunity include:

• Conduct user research activities and usability testing, to gain deep insights into user behaviour, needs, and preferences.

• Create user personas and journey maps to represent different user segments and their interactions with our digital products and platforms.

• Design wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to visualise and communicate design concepts and interaction flows.

• Develop intuitive and engaging user interfaces that prioritise usability, accessibility, and aesthetic appeal.

• Create visually stunning designs that align with brand guidelines and elevate the overall look and feel of our digital experiences.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Developers, and Marketing, to ensure alignment of design solutions with business goals and technical feasibility.

• Participate in an iterative design process, incorporating feedback and insights from stakeholders and users to refine and improve design solutions.

• Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to validate design assumptions and identify areas for optimization and improvement.

• Document design specifications, guidelines, and patterns to ensure consistency and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX, and proactively seek opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

About You:

We’re ideally looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.

• Strong understanding of user-centred design principles, usability best practices, and design thinking methodologies.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.

• Proficiency in UX design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, Monetate etc., and familiarity with prototyping tools and methods such as Axure etc

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in tag management solutions such as Google Tag Manager, Adobe Experience Platform, or similar.

• Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, and their impact on tracking implementations.

• Experience with digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, with a keen attention to detail.
