Senior Digital Optimisation Manager



Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Digital Optimisation Manager to join our expanding Digital Team here at Findel Education. You will be responsible for the user experience across all ecommerce websites and ensuring Google best practice is adhered to, as well as devising and delivering a ‘best in class’ roadmap to meet customer expectations.

As the lead on all UX/CRO initiatives, you will deliver consistently high quality and engaging personalised customer journeys that resonate with the customer, in addition to supporting the team with A/B and MVT testing plans to define the roadmap with proof of concept. You will also manage and support the SEO team ensuring the websites are fully optimised to deliver exceptional search engine results, along with kickstarting a backlink strategy.

The Role:

• Create a roadmap for optimisation for the customer journey, identifying barriers, and monitor ecommerce trends.

• Report on and analyse website metrics, overall customer engagement and conversion onsite to develop future strategies and areas for improvement.

• Work closely with IT to review and test changes throughout the development period. Support on designing wireframes as and when required. Oversee UAT testing and ensuring smooth transitions and efficient launches.

• Must be experienced with A/B and MVT testing for optimising online conversion.

• Share learning with the wider business – eg, customer behaviour, test results, SEO successes. Ensure teams follow a customer and data centric approach.

• Oversee the visual merchandising to maximise sales and margin. Work closely with Buying department.

• Lead the SEO strategy & technical roadmaps, onsite content plans, SEO outreach. Keep up to date on the latest changes to the Google algorithms, and understand what constitutes to good site health.

• Analyse, digest and present information using GA and other reporting tools and provide reports to assist in improvements across onsite campaign activity.

Your Experience:

• 6 years+ relevant ecommerce experience

• Relevant degree level education (or equivalent)

• Vast experience of personalisation software to create user journeys and A/B testing plans

• An excellent attention to detail and quality – know the website inside out and be the first to spot any potential issues

• Previous experience of using a CMS systems

• Basic understanding of HTML, eager to learn

• Experiencing use SEO tools such as Moz Pro, SEM Rush, AHrefs

• Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Merchant Centre, Google Search Console

• Experience managing, motivating, and developing a team

• Passionate about digital industry and new technology with knowledge of the latest digital trends and developments
