AP Account Manager

Are you ready to play a crucial role in a fast-paced finance team? Findel is looking for an AP Account Manager to join our team, working with colleagues across our business units to ensure seamless financial operations.

Reporting to the Account Payable Manager, you’ll be responsible for the smooth processing of our financial transactions and building strong relationships across departments. You’ll be a vital part of our finance team, managing high-value accounts, troubleshooting vendor issues, and driving process improvements that keep us on target and on time. With your knack for accuracy, efficiency, and team collaboration, you’ll be a key player in delivering excellence across our accounts payable function. We’re looking for someone who’s not just good with numbers, but also thrives on making a meaningful impact in a dynamic environment.

Your Role:

About You:

• Distribute and manage incoming correspondence from email, post and downloads

• Process invoices and credits within agreed SLA’s for stock, DD and overhead

• Monitor and manage debit balances, rebates and GRNI (goods received not invoiced)

• Liaise with key internal/external contacts effectively to resolve queries in a timely manner

• Produce and publish scheduled reports, fielding any queries in their regard

• Be proficient in using multiple platforms including SAP, OCR, Easysoft

• Uphold controls around alternative postings, new vendor accounts and changes to existing data

• Complete scheduled statement reconciliations and their associated actions

• Invoices processed accurately to agreed SLA

• No risk to the business for disbursements

• Invoices paid to terms avoiding service interruptions and late payment fees

• Accurate information published to support management of supplier accounts

• Competence displayed in using and utilising all digital tools for optimum efficiency

• Compliance with established procedures to safeguard Findel from fraud

• Ensure accounts are aligned and realise liabilities in the month in which they occur

We are ideally looking for the following skills and experience:

• Microsoft office specifically Excel and Outlook along with Teams

• Strong communication and influencing skills – verbal and written

• SAP and or AAT – advantageous but not essential

• Planning, organising, analytical and investigative skills

• High attention to detail

• Ability to reconcile accounts, match purchase orders with invoices, and identify discrepancies

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Capable of working under pressure

• Effectively prioritise responsibilities and tasks

• Ability to be able to work well with the accounts payable team and other business units
